No more road trips!
There is literally nothing scarier than driving down a dark road, up a secluded highway, or through the middle of no where; it is the basis of about 75% scary movies. (That may not be a real statistic, but I will not take it back.) Movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, The Hills Have Eyes, and Jeepers Creepers strike a little (or a lot) of fear in anyone considering a road trip.
While road-horror movies may keep you from dozens of all-American road trips, they have taught the human race three things:
- Don’t try to run away and look behind you at the same time; that’s how you fall.
- The pretty people always die first.
- If you live to tell the tale of a scary experience, tell it.
These Reddit users where asked to tell the creepiest thing they’d seen while driving, so they told it.
